Image Alt Text Manager
Make missing image descriptions easier to find and fix. Review media-library images, preview each asset and write its alt text. You can also inspect supported image uses in saved content to spot descriptions that need attention.
What you can do
- Work through a queue of media-library assets missing alt text.
- Preview images and save descriptions directly in the admin.
- Keep a separate record of decorative-image reviews and reverse those review decisions.
- Audit standard image fields and Portable Text images and galleries in saved drafts.
Use
Open Media Accessibility. Review the queue or select a collection for an image-use audit.
Limits
Asset alt and per-use alt are distinct. Decorative review does not change per-use markup. Custom/repeater blocks are excluded. Audits check two entries and at most five distinct assets per request; incomplete scans are explicit. Concurrent asset changes require review.
