Link Find & Replace
Moving pages or changing domains? Preview old-to-new link replacements across your content before applying selected draft updates.
Description
Link Find & Replace
Update links after moving pages or changing domains. Supply a list of old and new URLs, preview matching links across your content, then choose which draft changes to apply using the supplied Astro Workbench companion.
What you can do
- Preview exact URL matches across entries in a selected collection.
- Check supported URL values and links in standard Portable Text content.
- Select changes individually; entries changed since the preview are skipped.
- Keep change receipts to review what was applied.
Site setup
The registry plugin provides previews. Applying changes requires the supplied Astro Workbench companion; complete source and installation steps are in the README.
Use
In the current release, open “Link Repair & Migration Desk”, select a collection and paste a JSON URL map. Open the preview in the installed companion, select rows and apply.
Limits
Requires the AgenticEcom Astro Workbench companion to apply changes. Registry installation alone is preview-only. Ordinary strings and Portable Text link marks are supported; custom blocks/HTML/embedded URLs are excluded. No redirect management or undo.
